RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended travel of citizens and residents to and from nine coronavirus-affected countries, an official source in the Interior Ministry said on Monday. The countries are the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Italy, and South Korea. Besides, the Kingdom also won’t allow those who were in these countries during the 14 preceding days, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. The Kingdom also decided to stop flights between the Kingdom and the mentioned countries. Excluded from this evacuation are shipping and trade trips, provided the involved crew takes necessary precautions, the ministry said. Ministries of interior and health are coordinating to deal with humanitarian and exceptional cases.
