RIYADH: People who are in isolation to prevent the spread of coronavirus should not attend Friday prayers, Saudi Arabias Council of Senior Scholars said on Thursday.  The council said anyone who has been advised to isolate themselves by the authorities should adhere to the rules and not pray in congregation. The council also said that it is prohibited for people infected with coronavirus to attend prayers. Anyone who fears being infected should pray at home instead, the council added.
