DUBAI: Violators of Saudi Arabia’s nation-wide curfew to start on Monday evening will face imprisonment and a fine of $2,663, the Saudi Ministry of Interior has announced. King Salman on Sunday issued an order imposing a curfew across the Kingdom to control the spread of COVID-19. A royal court statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said the curfew will start at 7 p.m. and run until 6 a.m. every day for the next 21 days from the evening of March 23, 2020. The ministry earlier said it will undertake necessary measures to implement the curfew, with civil and military authorities ordered to fully cooperate. The Kingdom has 562 cases of coronavirus so far.
