MOHAP said the new cases were all in stable condition and were receiving the necessary treatment DUBAI: The UAE has reported 102 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 570. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) said the new infections came from people who did not adhere to social distancing rules, as well as from those who contracted the virus overseas. The UAE has the biggest expat population in the Gulf region, the cases were found in a number of people of a number of nationalities, including: New Zealand, Slovakian, Moroccan, Greek, Chinese, French and German as well as seven from the UAE. MOHAP said the new cases were all in stable condition and were receiving the necessary treatment. The ministry also reported one new fatality – a 47-year-old Arab woman who had prior chronic illnesses. Meanwhile, three people have recovered in the country – one Filipino and two Indians – taking the total recoveries to 58.
