JEDDAH: The General Directorate of Education has launched an education award for remote teaching amid the rise of digital education from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. Director General of Jeddah Education Saad Al-Massoudi said that the award will show how the educational field has proved its ability to overcome all challenges. On March 8, Saudi Arabia closed all public and private schools to protect students.
