Position Description Saudi Aramco is one of the world’s largest fully integrated energy enterprises. As part of our continued growth Saudi Aramco Unconventional Resources is actively seeking a cost Engineer to join their world class team. As a cost engineer you will work with the Unconventional Resources Project Management to Provide all cost engineering expertise and coordinates activities as group unit leader as required. You will review and analyze all claims and Change Orders on project contracts. Participate in the negotiation of project contracts as required and initiate appropriate action when total forecast indicates allocated funds will be exceeded. Minimum Requirements As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. You will have a minimum of nine years cost engineering experience including at least five years devoted to petrochemical refinery pipeline or power generation projects. Duties amp Responsibilities As the successful candidate you will be required to perform and demonstrate the following Provide all cost engineering expertise and coordinates activities as group unit leader as required. Responsible for preparation of cost portion of the engineering procurement and construction contracts. Collect monitor analyze and report all cost information through the Project Manager. Review and analyze all claims and Change Orderson project contracts. Participates in the negotiation of project contracts as required. Initiate appropriate action when total forecast indicates allocated funds will be exceeded. Keep abreast of significant developments in cost engineering by close review of technical literature contacts with contractors visits to areas of construction and attendance at professional technical meetings. Utilizes computer programs.
