RIYADH — Police in Riyadh have arrested four people who were engaged in the sale of forged movement permits during the curfew time. Lt. Col. Shaker Al-Tuwaijri, spokesman of police in Riyadh region, said that criminal investigation and monitoring wing of Riyadh police apprehended the gang of four people, including two Saudis and two Egyptians who are in their 40s and 50s, after receiving a tip off about their illegal activities. The gang used to sell one fake permit for SR3,000, taking advantage of the curfew period. The security officials seized 31 forged permits meant to be sold for SR93,000. The security authorities started penal action against them before handing them over to the Public Prosecution. The Ministry of Interior started issuing permits from April 13 for a section of people who are allowed to move during the curfew period. Every government entity is required to issue necessary permits for its personnel authorized by the competent authority in the Ministry of Interior.
