AMMAN: Jordan said it was thinking of reopening some government offices, as the country continues to ease lockdown measures prompted by the COVID-19 outbreak. State Minister for Media Affairs Amjad Al-Adailah said some governmental institutions will be allowed to open with limited numbers of employees, as reported by state-run Jordan News Agency. The plan comes as the country has implemented several measures to revive its economy. Al-Adailah reiterated the government’s efforts to impose strict health measures during Ramadan, including monitoring the market and punishing attempts to monopolize goods and increasing prices.
