RIYADH: Riyadh Deputy Gov. Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdul Aziz on Tuesday visited the Command and Control Center of the Riyadh region. He was briefed about the measures taken by the center to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), which included spraying of disinfectants on roads and other public spaces. The deputy governor praised the efforts of the center in curbing the spread of the virus in the region. Riyadh Mayor Prince Faisal bin Abdul Aziz bin Ayyaf thanked the country’s leadership for their support in fighting the pandemic. He said the safety of residents and citizens is the top priority of the secretariat. The center established by the Riyadh municipality monitors the spread of COVID-19 and take necessary measures to control the situation. It is working around the clock to deal with any situation. Prince Mohammed lauded the communication system developed by the secretariat and how it is creating awareness among people about ways to stay safe from the pandemic. The deputy governor also reviewed the readiness level of the secretariat and the future outlook.
