El-Khouri also thanked other health care sector workers, including administrators and technicians for their part in serving the nation’s population DUBAI: The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has donated 2,770 Iftar meals to nurses and medical staff in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as part of its tribute to COVID-19 front line workers during International Nurses Day. The initiative aims to highlight the importance of nurses in caring for patients especially during the pandemic, state news agency WAM reported. “On the occasion of International Nursing Day, we thank the country’s medical staff for their outstanding performance and dedication to their work, especially during the coronavirus pandemic,” Mohammed Haji El-Khouri, director-general of the foundation, said. El-Khouri also thanked other health care sector workers, including administrators and technicians for their part in serving the nation’s population.
