RIYADH — Saudi Arabia"s Ministry of Health has issued an educative coronavirus guide for the most vulnerable groups with an aim to explain prevention methods and necessary precautions to be taken by them. The guide, which has been published in several languages by the ministry on educational e-platform "Live Well" and its Twitter account, provides important tips for "the elderly, diabetic, high blood pressure patients, cardiovascular patients, people with chest and respiratory diseases, HIV / AIDS, chronic kidney disease, cancer patients, pregnant and lactating women with weak immunity and severely obese people, to help them identify and deal with the symptoms. The guide also deals on methods of prevention and the mechanism of communication with the helpline 937, and what should be done to protect the most vulnerable categories from coronavirus infection. The guide, includes general advice for everyone, the most important of which is to "stay at home, avoid touching animals, continue to take medications, pay more attention to hygiene, continue physical activity, wear a face mask when leaving the house, maintain a safe distance, not share food and utensils and avoid gatherings, etc. The guide also offers tips, especially for the elderly, diabetic, hypertension and cardiovascular patients, patients with respiratory illness, HIV positive and cancer patients, as well as for pregnant and lactating women.
