RIYADH: King Salman said on Sunday that he "sees hope in the coming days" in a message to mark Eid Al-Fitr. Referring to the coronavirus pandemic, he said that Saudi Arabia will overcome “all calamity” through resolve and positivity. The king also thanked God for the blessing of Eid Al-Fitr, a celebration marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Muslims around the world on Sunday began celebrating Eid with millions under strict stay-at-home orders and many fearing renewed coronavirus outbreaks.
