KSrelief delivers tons of dates to Sierra Leone and Guinea

RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center on Sunday delivered tons of dates as a gift from the Kingdom to the west African countries of Sierra Leone and Guinea. Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Sierra Leone and Guinea Dr. Hussein Bin Nasser Al-Dakhil Allah gifted over 50 and 100 tons of dates to the governments of Sierra Leone and Guinea respectively. While handing over the aid to the Guinea officials, Al-Dakhil Allah said: "We signed papers with the officials in Guinea the minutes 100 tons of dates arrived in the country as a gift and this reflects the depth of ties between the two countries," Saudi Press Agency reported. The Saudi envoy thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense in a press statement for their direction to deliver tons of food aid to the deserving groups of people in Sierra Leone and Guinea. He commended the efforts made by the KSrelief in helping the needy all over the world, especially its extraordinary efforts many countries of the world while following all precautionary and preventive measures put in place by the authorities in the host countries to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. The ambassador said that the KSrelief sets a very good example in humanitarian work for others to emulate. The gift is part the charity programs being carried by Saudi government in a number of brotherly and friendly countries, reaching out to the needy families in different regions of the world.
