DAMMAM — Asaad Saud, spokesman of the Health Affairs Department in the Eastern Province, has said that any negligence on the part of some people with regard to complying with coronavirus preventive protocols is similar to a “breach of trust”. Speaking to Okaz/Saudi Gazette, he reiterated that the current health situation is not safe 100 percent. He urged all members of the society to protect themselves if they wanted to see life returning to normal, saying that the decision in this regard is in their hands. “Social gatherings now are dangerous and their impact tend to cross the infection to critical cases and fatalities. Social distancing and other regulations are worked out for the sake of the entire society and that everyone should adhere to the precautionary measures and preventive protocols in this regard,” he said. All measures have been taken to serve the interests of society, the official said adding that people from all walks of life should comply with them and cooperate with the efforts of the government that gives top priority to human health and safety.
