RIYADH: The Misk Academy recently signed an agreement with General Electric (GE) for a program aimed at enhancing leadership skills of Saudis working in top positions in the private and public sectors. The agreement was signed by Misk Academy CEO Omar Al-Najjar and Hisham Ali Al-Bahkali, president and CEO of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain GE. The agreement aims to benefit from the experiences of one of the most important leadership academies in the world to support and enhance the skills of Saudi leaders and develop authentic methods, ideas, and behaviors that advance the works of civil and governmental institutions to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The initiative is the first step in cooperation, as the Misk Academy and General Electric launched the “Accelerated Leadership Program” for a select group of senior Saudi leaders to benefit from the programs that will be held both physically and virtually at the GE’s learning center in Crotonville in New York. The initiative began with a virtual session of a select group last month.
