Less than a third support returning to lockdown Most said they would rather see social distancing enforced DUBAI: Most people do not want to see a return to lockdown despite the continued spread of coronavirus around the globe, with some countries facing a resurgence of the disease, an Arab News Twitter poll has found. Nearly 49 percent of the 770 people who took part said social distancing should be enforced, while just over 20 percent said they would rather just carry on as normal. The coronavirus pandemic is ongoing, Germany and the US are just two countries struggling to bring an end to the continued increases they are facing. The UK is trying to reopen, but has already had to carry out a localized shutdown of Leicester and surrounding areas – England is the worst hit of the union and across Europe.
