RIYADH – A total of 227 people were fined for not wearing masks in Riyadh and the Northern Border Region. Spokesman of Riyadh police said that a fine amounting to SR1,000 was slapped on each one of 200 people for violating coronavirus precautionary measures and the protocols with regard to wearing masks in the Riyadh region, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday. Spokesman for the Northern Border Police said that a similar amount of fine was imposed on 27 people who were caught not wearing masks, the agency said.
