The platform will serve a qualitative addition to the scientific efforts launched by the center since the beginning of the pandemic to stem its spread, according to the report. The platform is of effective public health tools for disease prevention and includes early warning and detection programs, response, and preparedness systems. It can particularly contribute to expanding the efforts of monitoring disease spread, protect high-risk groups, and supporting health care facilities with expertise and knowledge, the report added. The CDC has harnessed all its potential to contribute to reducing the effects of the pandemic.
