LONDON: Saudi Arabia announced 39 more deaths from COVID-19 and 1,227 new cases of the disease on Sunday. Of the new cases, 62 were recorded in Riyadh, 57 in Jazan, 57 in Jeddah, 56 in Makkah and 36 in Madinah. The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 266,953 after 2,466 more patients recovered from the virus. A total of 3,408 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.
