In a statement, it said the project is part of the municipality’s efforts to increase green spaces and boost the quality of living in the governorate. The project is in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan, which envisages the development of the country’s cities along modern lines without compromising on the quality of life and ensuring the humanization of Saudi cities. Jubail Mayor Nayef bin Faisal Al-Duwaish said the project is part of the Humanization of Cities initiative. Vision 2030 has identified 12 urbanization programs focusing on improving the quality of services, focusing on the needs of the regions, and highlighting their competitive advantage. The project includes a garden spread over 32,000 sq. meters. It consists of spaces for families, playgrounds, a network of pedestrian paths, children’s play areas, and parking lots for visitors. The fenced project has different entry points to effectively manage the crowd. It has been designed to provide citizens and expatriates a perfect place to spend their time amid natural beauty. Since the launch of the Vision 2030 plan, work on such development projects is in full swing across the Kingdom. The aim of such projects is also to boost domestic tourism.
