JEDDAH — flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s Everyday Low Fares airline, and the Kingdom’s third largest operator completed three years of operation on Sept. 23, the country’s National Day. The airline today currently operates 62 daily flights through a domestic network linking 11 destinations across the Kingdom with a fleet of 12 Airbus aircraft, including 11 Airbus A320 ceos, and one Airbus A320 neo, which entered into service this month. Over the last few years flyadeal has grown to be a key player in the domestic air travel market, offering a value for money customer proposition where customers choose what they want and book early to get the best fares. From its beginning and until today the focus has always been to provide service with a smile. In reflecting on the three-year milestone, Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal, commented: “I would like to take a moment to thank the 9 million customers that have traveled with us since we started flying. I also want to commend the passionate commitment of the flyadeal team of more than 500 staff that work very hard to deliver service with a smile. “These are unprecedented and difficult times for all of us and at this juncture, the health and safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority. Over the last few months we have as an industry been adapting to a new normal, continuously coordinating with the authorities to comply with the health and civil aviation authority guidelines that keep our customers safe while we slowly build back previous levels of service.” He went on: “Despite the difficulties we face today they will eventually pass. The Kingdom is committed to the growth of tourism and travel in the run up to 2030 and we will do our part to realize that potential. “In our fourth year of operation we plan to commence international services and add several aircraft to our fleet so that we can provide our customers with even more opportunities to Fly for Less. There are better and brighter days ahead for our customers and our industry.” — SG
