ثمّن فضيلة الإمام الأكبر الدكتور أحمد الطيب شيخ الأزهر الشريف، ما يبذله العلماء والباحثون من جهود في سبيل تقديم لقاح كورونا للعالم عطاءٌ سخيٌّ ومقدرٌ من أبطالٍ اختصهم الله بالمحافظة على حياة البشر في ظل جائحةٍ أودتْ بحياة أكثر من مليون شخص، ولا تزال تهدد العالم. وقال شيخ الأزهر في منشور عبر صفحته على فيس بوك باللغة العربية والإنجليزية، إنه يجب ألا يُخذَل الفقراء واللاجئون في حقهم للحصول على هذا اللقاح، وأن تقر الشركات المنتجة سياسةً عادلةً لتوزيع اللقاح؛ انطلاقًا من رسالتها وضميرها الإنساني، بعيدًا عن أسواق التجارة والحسابات المادية.____The work put in by scientists and researchers in the pursuit of the coronavirus vaccine is a noble and worthwhile gesture by those heroes who have been anointed by Allah to preserve humanity from this pandemic, which has claimed over one million lives and continues to threaten the world. The disenfranchised and displaced must equally be afforded the chance to obtain the vaccine. Likewise, pharmaceutical companies must implement fair and equal policies when distributing the vaccine to maintain their humanitarian obligations and not solely focus on economic gains.
