RIYADH — The Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdul-Rahman Bin Abdul-Mohsen Al-Fadhli has confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia played a large and vital role through its presidency of the G20 in presenting the Middle East and North Africa region"s views. He indicated that the Kingdom believes in the importance of global cooperation in creating opportunities in education, health, technology, economy and environment, and thinking about the challenges facing the world, such as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the minister explained that the Kingdom sought under this year"s slogan "Realizing opportunities of the 21st century for all" to lead towards more collective action. The minister indicated that the Ministry of Environment"s participation comes under the objectives of the Kingdom"s presidency of the G20, which is to empower people, safeguard the planet, and shape new frontiers. — SPA
