RIYADH: The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) carried out 2,731 inspection visits to establishments under its supervision, between Nov. 8 and 19. The authority referred 14 establishments to the Ministry of Interior due to their failure to adhere to the precautionary measures in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease. The violations were detected during inspection tours carried out across the Kingdom. The violations included a lack of commitment to safety instructions, such as wearing face masks, securing sanitizers in designated places and taking the temperature of employees and customers prior to their entering a facility.
