RIYADH — A ballistic missile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia on Monday from Amran fell in Sa’dah governorate in Yemen, the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen, said. In a statement on Monday carried by the Saudi Press Agency, the Arab Coalition’s spokesman Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said: “The terrorist, Iran-backed Houthi militia, has launched this morning (Monday) a ballistic missile from (Amran) governorate using civilian objects for the launch site. The missile fell after the launch in Yemeni territory in (Sa’dah) governorate. "The continued violations of the International Humanitarian Law by the Houthi militia through launching ballistic missiles that fall indiscriminately on civilians and residential areas threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians, the spokesman said. "The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will continue to implement all rigorous, deterrent measures to neutralize and destroy these advanced conventional capabilities to protect civilians in Yemen and safeguard regional and international security,” the statement added.
