DUBLIN, Dec 1 (Reuters) - The number of people in Ireland claiming temporary coronavirus-related jobless benefits fell slightly to 351,400 over the last seven days, data showed on Tuesday, ahead of an expected 100,000 to 150,000 fall as the economy largely reopens this week. Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) recipients have risen by almost 150,000 since Ireland began to tighten COVID-19 curbs in September, two-thirds of them since the highest level of constraints were put in place on Oct. 21. Just over 100 million euros was paid to 351,400 claimants, down from 352,072 a week ago while another 130 million euros was paid out in arrears to 286,000 people, the social protection department said. Ireland reopened all shops on Tuesday with restaurants and pubs serving food to follow on Friday. (Reporting by Padraic Halpin; Editing by Jon Boyle)
