Abdulhadi Al-Shammari has been chairman of the Municipal Council of the Eastern Province since November 2017. He has also been security liaison manager at Sadara Chemical Co. in Al-Jubail Industrial City since 2014. Al-Shammari is responsible for supervising security coordination tasks and the security investigation section.  Prior to that, he was the security investigator at Maaden Co., and in charge of the cards and permits section, between 2008 and 2014. He is a member of the Committee for Social Development in Dammam, the American Association of Industrial Security, the Education Council in the Eastern Province, and the board of directors of the Handicapped Club in the Eastern Province. Al-Shammari has more than 10 years of security experience, and boasts strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. He is able to develop and implement effective action plans, and has experience in coordinating criminal investigations. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from King Abdul Aziz University in 2005. He holds a diploma in security patrols and a diploma in business administration.
