RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Aden airport on Wednesday, killing and injuring tens of innocent people, as the attack coincided with the arrival of the plane carrying the members of the new Yemeni government. In a statement issued today, KSrelief said this criminal act demonstrates the brutality of extremist and terrorist forces that never hesitate to commit crimes against the Yemeni people, which destabilize the security and stability in the country, expressing sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured. In this regard, the statement also expressed KSrelief’s deepest sorrow over the death and wounding of some international humanitarian organizations workers who were present at the time of the attack, explaining that this reflects the dangerous atmosphere facing humanitarian workers. KSrelief affirmed its stand and solidarity with all Yemeni people without discrimination to overcome the humanitarian crisis that Yemen is going through. KSrelief also called on the international community to support efforts aiming at promoting peace. — SG
