Among the leaders of the world, a revolutionary feat will be performed by Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. While many nations are focused on modernizing their cities, Bin Salman does it better by not compromising nature and its people. The fearless leader dares to do the impossible by bringing the past to the future where people will live with the environment without dominating it. Bin Salman humbly adjusts to earth’s natural form and desires to recreate sustainable communities. In his futuristic approach, the future residents will be living in the safety of their organic neighborhood. The crown prince plan to eliminate traffic and pollution which are causes of millions of deaths. Bin Salman is the nation’s best asset who moves forward with and for his people. The Line is Bin Salman’s solution to today’s global crises. While other countries are still on the planning stage to solve climate change, the crown prince is already in action. The mentioned project will build a zero-carbon city that promotes breathable air for its communities. Neither cars nor streets are necessary because the essential establishments are within walking-distance. The crown prince foresees the future and says that by 2050, the demand for commute will double and billions of people will need to relocate due to contaminated air and rising sea level. Moreover, he claims that annually, seven million people die due to pollution and another million die because of traffic accidents. The leader emphasizes the hazard that today’s people are facing and further states that 90% of people breathe polluted air. The project is called The Line because the mega-city will be linear that connects the Red Sea coast to the north-west of Saudi Arabia. It will scope 105 miles that will be home to a million residents. The mega-city will compose different communities called “city modules.” Residents will have easy access to essential items because the community is designed to be a five-minute walk from the resident’s place to the establishment. While there are existing walkable cities, the absence of cars and streets removes the risk of getting into an accident. Even when there are no vehicles, residents can travel by means of underground transportation. The underground vehicles are one of the most advanced as it will be driven by artificial intelligence through a metro line on high-speed freight. The residents are at zero risks of road accidents because they are protected by two underground layers—one for service and another for transport. The project aims to make vehicles invisible to residents on the “pedestrian layer.” The AI that will control the vehicles is expected to advance further in time. Through massive data-gathering, this technology will be able to predict the necessities of the communities that aim to make the lives of one million residents easier. A report claims, “An estimated 90 per cent of available data will be harnessed to enhance infrastructure capabilities far beyond the one per cent typically utilized in existing smart cities .” Therefore, this technology is 90% more state-of-the-art than existing ones. In addition, infrastructures visible on the pedestrian layer is equally forward. The buildings will be carbon-positive. A hundred percent clean and renewable energy will power the city that will make 95% of the entire 105-mile protected from contaminated air. Infrastructures will also be digitally run to ensure flawless movement. Bin Salman describes The Line as “a civilizational revolution that puts humans first.” The Line guarantees a sheltered life by means of its advanced and sustainable methods. But by putting his people first, the crown prince does not sacrifice the environment saying, "Why should we sacrific
