RIYADH — The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) has called on employers to furnish the complete data regarding the wage of non-Saudi workers, who are registered with the organization but whose wage data has not been furnished within the statutory registration period. In the event of failure to furnish the complete data, the organization warned, it will determine the wage and approve it as a fixed wage. GOSI noted that some employers have failed to provide complete wage data for non-Saudi workers in their establishments. Subsequently, the employers were given a grace period to complete the data regarding their salary. “In event that the complete wage data are not furnished within the specified time limit, GOSI will determine and approve the wage in accordance with the provisions of the decision of the Organization’s Board of Directors, effective from May 1, 2021. The updated wage data must also include details of those who are on the payroll or those who have ended their contractual relationship,” it said. GOSI explained that the employer can complete the data of the non-Saudi worker by entering the organization’s website (www.gosi.gov.sa) and choosing a link to complete the data of non-Saudi workers including personal information about the worker as well as his job title, wage, and contact information. GOSI affirmed that employers must abide by the provisions of the Labor Law and register all their workers mentioning their correct wages, noting that registering the worker with an incorrect wage is an offense that is punishable by a fine.
