King Salman issues order to promote, appoint 258 judges

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued a royal order to promote and appoint 258 judges at the Ministry of Justice in various ranks, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday. In a statement, Minister of Justice Sheikh Dr. Walid Al-Samaani, who is also the president of the Supreme Judicial Council, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his continuous support for the judiciary. He hoped the judges would succeed in achieving the aspirations of the Saudi leadership, safeguarding justice, and implementing provisions of laws. — SG
