Tabuk emir opens new maternity and children’s hospital

TABUK — Tabuk Emir Prince Fahd Bin Sultan inaugurated on Wednesday the new maternity and children’s hospital in Tabuk. Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah was also present on the occasion. The 270-bed hospital is located within the King Abdullah Medical City Project in Tabuk. Spread over an area of 113770 square meters, the hospital project was completed with an estimated cost of SR471 million. Upon arrival at the venue, Prince Fahd cut the ribbon and unveiled the memorial plaque to mark the opening of the hospital. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Al-Rabiah lauded the continuous achievements that the Kingdom is witnessing in all spheres of life. He said the opening of the hospital by the emir reflects the wise leadership’s utmost keenness on the citizens’ health, making it a priority in all development plans and programs. “The hospital project falls within the efforts of the Ministry of Health to further improve the standard of health services and raise the efficiency of performance in all health facilities in order to provide the best ever medical care and services for citizens and expatriates,” the minister added.
