RIYADH — The Ministry of Finance has announced the launch of an e-portal for individual services via mobile application, and the registration in the platform is through the National Unified Access. The ministry’s launch of the platform comes as an additional step that reflects the ministry’s role in facilitating access to its services and within its plans to improve the quality of provided services, automate them, and ensure the completion of the services in a shorter time and higher quality. The e-portal provides numerous services to citizens and residents, including inquiries about a number of services, employees" cars and annual returns, requests for loan exemption, transactions submitted to the ministry, and other services that only require registration through the National Unified Access page on the smartphone application. Director General of the Information Technology Department Majid Al-Abdulkarim said that in light of the Kingdom"s Vision 2030 and its executive programs as well as the National Transformation Program, the Ministry of Finance seeks to develop its plan for digital transformation by providing integrated program of applications, solutions and infrastructure, which will contribute to the application of an integrated digital system, leading to full automation of all services and transactions. He added that the main goal is to improve the quality of services and facilitate the processes of follow-up and inquire about services, noting that the ministry, through its platforms, programs and applications, has succeeded in completing tasks and providing services to citizens and residents remotely. — SPA
