KUWAIT CITY — Kuwait’s Cabinet on Monday decided to extend the partial curfew until the end of Ramadan, the Kuwait News Agency reported citing a statement from the Cabinet’s media office. According to the statement, curfew hours — from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. — will remain unchanged but the decision may be reassessed during the regular review of developments with regard to the coronavirus pandemic in the country. The curfew was initially scheduled to end in the second week of April and had then been extended for two weeks until April 22. On March 4, 2021, the Kuwait Cabinet imposed a month-long partial curfew as part of its efforts to curb the COVID-19 spread. The Cabinet ordered the suspension of all commercial activities during the curfew time. The government also decided to prevent non-Kuwaitis from entering the country. — Agencies
