MADINAH — The first batch of the women personnel of the Special Security Force deployed at the Prophet’s Mosque are offering the best possible services to women worshipers and visitors during the holy month of Ramadan. Maj. Gen. Abdul Rahman Al-Mashhan, director of the Madinah police, said that the first batch comprises a total of 99 women personnel, who have been on duty from Oct. 18, 2020 (Rabi Al-Awwal 1). “The presence of women security forces has been instrumental in organizing the visit of women to the Rawdah Sharif in an orderly and effective manner. These women personnel are also doing great work in enforcing the coronavirus precautionary measures and preventive protocols in the best possible manner in the prayer areas for women at the holy mosque.” Al-Mashhan said they have undergone special training programs in the security, field, and administrative realms so as to qualify them to perform their new duties with a high level of professionalism. Meanwhile, Madinah Emir Prince Faisal Bin Salman was briefed on the great efforts of the women security personnel in offering services to women worshipers and visitors in the prayer areas as well as at the Rawdah Sharif. He also reviewed the activities and efforts of all the agencies engaged in serving the faithful and appreciated their work. The emir urged all the concerned officials to redouble their efforts in making preparations for the last 10 days of the holy month so as to enable the worshipers to perform their rituals in ease and comfort and that is strictly in compliance with precautionary measures to ensure the safety of all. Prince Faisal inspected the functioning of the Agency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque and its various services to the visitors and worshipers. During an inspection tour of the courtyards and corridors of the Prophet’s Mosque, the emir reviewed the great efforts of the security forces in enforcing security measures and preventive protocols with restricting entry to only immunized worshipers.
