KUWAIT CITY — Kuwaiti citizens will be banned from traveling abroad unless they have received the COVID-19 vaccine, the Kuwaiti government announced on Monday. The decision will start from May 22. The pregnant, women during the breastfeeding period and children under 16 are not subject to the decision. Meanwhile, the previous decree of banning non-Kuwaitis from entering the country will be continued. The Kuwaiti Health Ministry reported on Sunday 1,316 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total infections in the country to 276,586. The government has decided to extend the partial curfew, running from 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. local time, until the end of Ramadan. — Agencies
