RIYADH — The Ministry of Sport, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC) signed Monday a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote cooperation between the three parties in several areasThe MoU was co-signed by Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal, president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee (SAOC), and Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah. The memorandum aims at enhancing strategic cooperation between government sectors, contributing to realizing the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, in addition to highlighting Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian and relief efforts through the events and participation of the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. The Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, in cooperation with KSrelief, will provide sports programs for Saudi players in countries benefiting from humanitarian projects. Meanwhile, the ministry will nominate a number of Saudi youths to participate in the works of KSrelief, whereas the center will train and include them in international relief operations, according to the memorandum. — SPA
