ISLAMABAD — Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan met here on Tuesday with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, who is currently visiting Islamabad.During the meeting with the Pakistani premier, the Saudi foreign minister conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman to the government and the people of Pakistan. PM Khan reciprocated the greetings and congratulated King Salman and Crown Muhammad Bin Salman on the success of this year’s Hajj season with no cases of coronavirus other epidemic diseases recorded. Pakistan’s prime minister also commended the measures taken by Saudi Arabia to preserve the health and safety of pilgrims amid exceptional circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic and its new variants. During the meeting, they reviewed the historic and solid relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in all fields through the Saudi-Pakistani Coordination Council, which aims to strengthen the effective partnership and intensify bilateral coordination in issues of common interest. The two sides touched on the importance of exploring investment opportunities and available opportunities in light of the Kingdom"s Vision 2030, in order to achieve more prosperity for the two countries and their citizens.
