Saudi aid agency provides medical services in Jordan, Yemen

KSrelief has implemented 606 projects in Yemen at a total cost of almost $3.8 billion AMMAN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics provided medical services to 628 Syrian patients in one day at Jordan’s Zaatari refugee camp, the Saudi Press Agency reported. General medicine clinics received 204 patients, while those responsible for internal medicine dealt with 39 people with diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, 121 patients visited pediatric centers, 37 were treated at the emergency department, and two dental clinics handled 45 cases. Between July 8-16, Al-Jada Health Center outlets in Yemen’s Hajjah governorate provided treatment services for 1,677 people with the support of KSrelief. There were 489 patients at the emergency department, 331 in the awareness and education department, 271 in internal medicine, 291 in the epidemiological department, 116 in reproductive health, and 87 in the surgery and dressings department. KSrelief also distributed urgent shelter aid to those affected by flooding in Yemen’s Al-Jawf governorate, including 220 tents, 880 blankets and 110 rugs, helping 1,320 displaced and affected people. KSrelief has implemented 606 projects in Yemen at a total cost of almost $3.8 billion. It is among the top beneficiary countries of KSrelief assistance.
