The Kabul airport has been a scene of chaos since the Taliban took over the Afghan capital on Aug. 15. The firefight came a day after the UK military confirmed that at least seven people were killed outside Kabul airport in an attempt by hundreds of Afghans to leave the country. There were reports of stampede and crushing injuries while Taliban outside the Kabul airport fired into the air to clear the crowd.
