DUBAI: Renowned Iraqi singer Kadim Al-Sahir is set to perform at Dubai’s long-awaited Expo 2020. For the latest updates, follow us on Instagram @arabnews.lifestyle The star, famous for his songs “Qoulee Ouhiboki” and “Ana Wa Laila,” will kickstart the Infinite Night series, which will take place physically and digitally, on Oct. 15. Al-Sahir, who is nicknamed the “Caesar of Arabic Song,” said in a released statement: “I am excited to be back in front of an audience after a two-year break, to open the Infinite Nights series from the heart of Expo 2020 Dubai. “This is a wonderful opportunity to unite the world through music and song, and celebrate our accomplishments. I am honored to be part of this incredible global event that will bring the world together, and I promise you it will be a great night,” added Al-Sahir. Infinite Nights will take place throughout Expo 2020, which runs from Oct. 1 to March 31, welcoming visitors to celebrate human creativity, innovation, progress and culture. The full list of celebrities performing at the event is yet to be announced.
