The Ministry also noted that the exhibition is an ideal new and specialized platform for companies to enter the growing poultry market and take advantage of the opportunities to help shape the future of production in the poultry industry and its inputs in the Kingdom, the Arab Gulf states, the Middle East, and the North African countries for showcasing the latest innovations, technologies, and solutions. Notably, the Kingdom is among the most consuming countries of poultry meat with an average individual consumption of around 50 kg per year. The Kingdom’s consumption of chicken is estimated at 1.38 million tons annually. It is also the top producer of poultry in Arab countries. From food to automobiles, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition on Wednesday launched a survey to study the structure of the auto sector in the Kingdom. The study aims to root out harmful practices that may affect the sector’s growth and to ensure the protection of customers’ rights and healthy competition among the sector’s stakeholders. It is part of the authority’s efforts to achieve the goals of Vision 2030, which envisages a strong economic sector.
