JEDDAH: Saudi municipalities have ramped up efforts to monitor compliance with health and safety measures in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The municipality of Jeddah carried out 3,719 inspection tours of commercial centers and facilities in one day. Authorities closed 10 commercial outlets for breaching protocols.
