Similar features already exist on other social media platforms, such as Instagram. Under the current format, Twitter images are indented next to a user"s profile photo and take up much less screen space. The images are magnified only after a user clicks on them. Twitter has also been working on increasing online safety for its users. The social media giant launched a privacy setting that allows users to temporarily block accounts for up to seven days for using harmful language or sending uninvited replies.
