KYIV, Sept 21 (Reuters) - The mission of the International Monetary Fund is starting its work in Ukraine for the first review of the Fund-supported program, the global lender said on Tuesday. Ukraine signed a $5 billion IMF programme last year but the loans were effectively frozen over concerns about reforms. Vahram Stepanyan, the IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine, said in a statement the mission would be conducting its meetings online. Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said last week the country had fulfilled all the IMF’s conditions under the current assistance programme and Kyiv expects to receive the next tranche of assistance worth $750 million in December.
