BERLIN, Oct 8 (Reuters) - German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz hailed an agreement on Friday between leading global economies on a minimum corporate tax rate of 15%. “Today we have taken another important step towards more tax justice. The OECD countries have today agreed on the most important parameters for global minimum taxation,” Scholz said in a statement emailed to Reuters. “At the same time, further states have joined the reform, which is a strong sign for multilateralism,” he added. “In particular, the agreement of the states of the European Union is a great success and will ensure that the reform can be implemented quickly throughout the EU.” (Reporting by Christian Kraemer Writing by Paul Carrel Editing by Tom Sims)
