Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai, visited Monday the pavilion of the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in GITEX Technology Week 2021. He was received by Prince Dr. Bandar Bin Abdullah Bin Mashari, assistant minister of Interior for Technical Affairs. The deputy ruler of Dubai was briefed on the platform of the Ministry of Interior, which brings together the security and service agencies in the ministry under the title: "Technical Solutions for a Safe Homeland". He was also briefed on the electronic services and smart applications provided by a number of participating agencies and sectors at the Ministry of Interior"s pavilion, as well as the latest developments in the Ministry of Interior and its sectors in terms of advanced technical services to serve citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, during its participation in GITEX Technology Week 2021 in Dubai, the Ministry of Interior reviewed its transformational and developmental initiatives within the programs of the Kingdom"s Vision 2030. The Vision Realization Office at the Ministry of Interior participated with a working paper entitled "The Ministry of Interior within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030". The papers addressed the Ministry’s efforts in the Quality of Life Program and the Pilgrims Service Program, in addition to the Ministry"s contributions within the Kingdom"s Vision 2030, including the development of e-government, the strengthening of society"s immunity to drugs, and the provision of high-quality services to pilgrims and Umrah performers. The paper also highlighted the Kingdom"s progress in international security indicators, the Ministry of Interior"s contribution to several initiatives, as well as the Ministry"s future projects within the Kingdom"s Vision 2030. — SPA
