Oct 20 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas said on Wednesday it has elevated its banking supervision chief Robert L. Triplett III to the bank’s No. 2 position, succeeding Meredith Black, who had announced her retirement earlier this year. Black is currently running the bank as its interim president after Robert Kaplan left earlier this month in controversy over his private stock trading. Black will retire when a new bank president is appointed, the bank said in a statement. (Reporting by Ann Saphir Editing by Chris Reese) Our Standards: The Thomson Reuters Trust Principles.
