RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced one death from COVID-19 and 42 new infections on Saturday. Of the new cases, 14 were recorded in Riyadh, eight in Jeddah, four in Madinah, three in Makkah, and two in Khobar. Several other cities recorded one new case each. The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 537,794 after 33 more patients recovered from the virus. A total of 8,803 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far. Over 46.2 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
