RIYADH: The Saudi stock market ended the session on Wednesday up by 0.9 percent, to close at 11,858 points. Shares of Al Rajhi Bank, the largest weighted in the Saudi market, rose by more than 1 percent to close at SR149 ($39.7) Some 151.1 million shares changed hands in 252,000 deals, with heavy trading in Al Rajhi bank, Alinma Bank, ACWA Power. Shares of Arabian Pipes topped the day"s gains at SR16.28 ($4.34) amid active trading of 2.4 million shares. The company announced that it had won contracts from Saudi Aramco worth SR305 million ($81.3 million). Shares of SACO led today"s declines by 7 percent at SR54.30 ($14.4) as the company recorded losses of SR13.9 million in Q3 2021. The parallel Nomu index was down 203.26 points, or 0.82 percent, It closed at 24600.39 points, after 684,000 trades. On the other hand, shares of ACWA Power declined by more than 1 percent at SR75.10($20) after the company recorded losses of SR27 million in the third quarter of 2021. Additionally, shares of Saudi National Bank recorded the highest closing since listing in the market at SR69 ($18.4) amid trading of about 3.8 million shares.
